Dr Mia Leung graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2012. Her specialist nephrology training was undertaken at Austin Health, St Vincent’s Hospital and Eastern Health, following which she became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

With a strong interest in research, Dr Leung is currently completing her PhD studies at Austin Health receiving a prestigious scholarship to study non-invasive biomarkers in kidney transplantation.

Dr Leung is passionate about providing a holistic approach to caring for patients with kidney disease. She is comfortable with all kidney related concerns such as people with hypertension, chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis and those who need dialysis or renal transplantation.

Dr Leung is additionally fluent in Cantonese and welcomes referrals in all areas of kidney disease.
